Meat Records was started in 1995 by Bill Beattie and Aaron Nygaard with the hopes of providing an outlet for as many of Fargo's bands as they could talk into letting them release something. So far it's been a promising start as they've released singles by John Smith and Martian as well as a compilation tape featuring eleven of Fargo's finest playing live at the notorious Ralph's Corner Bar.
