Carother's Bros. described John Smith perfectly when they wrote "growling, distortion, growling, distortion..oh, I'm repeating myself". Whether it was meant as a fun poke at their thundering onslaught of noise or a mean jab is up in the air. John Smith, the only Fargo band that actually looks like a band, has been together since sometime in 1994. Meat Records fell in love with the boys from the get-go and decided they would be the first band to release a single with the new label. If these guys had any ounce of a brain between them they would leave town and find greener pastures.
