Standard are sometimes refered to as "Bossk without the cute guitar player" and that's exactly what they are, although Standard was together well before Bossk ever got started. Let's see, two piece band, drums and bass, from Fargo, I've got it...godheadSilo. Standard hates the comparisons they sometimes get to Fargo's more famous two piece band and why not, the only thing that godheadSilo and Standard have in common is the fact that they are only bass and drums. Wait and that they're from Fargo. Well that's how they look at it anyway. Granted you can tell a Standard song from a godheadSilo song, but when it comes down to the nuts and bolts of the thing it's not like one is playing country while the other plays rap. One thing that does set them apart is that Chad is always guaranteed to provide more than your money's worth when seeing them live. His ever evolving strap-on microphone is worth the price of admission alone.
